" I had the pleasure of dining at La Vaca Mexicana this past weekend, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The tacos were probably the best I've had in Ottawa. I especially enjoyed the flavors of the chorizo. The homemade chips paired perfectly with some of their fresh salsa. While the wait for food was longer than expected, it was totally worth it for that authentic taste. I'll definitely be spreading the word about this little gem of a place. Highly recommended! " Absolutely fantastic! The moment I walked in, the comforting smell of spices took me right back to Mexico. I ordered the quesabirria and it was exquisite. The flavors were brilliantly balanced in every bite! They also have a good selection of salsas to go with. The only area for improvement would be their service; it felt a bit disorganized. " I finally got to try La Vaca Mexican Taqueria after hearing so many great things. I must say, the tacos lived up to the hype. I had a mix of their meats, and they were all full of flavor. I especially enjoyed the barbacoa; it was incredibly tender. I did notice that the service could use some improvement as our server took a while to check on us. Recently, I tried the suadero, and it was melt-in-your-mouth good! The only downside has been that during peak hours, the service tends to slow down.
